Rodney’s Oyster House

My best friend’s birthday is coming up so I decided to treat her to some seafood because we’re both seafood lovers! ๐Ÿ˜€

This is some juicy and sweet pan fried scallops, on a bed of spinach, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. When I eat grilled mushrooms at some places, they make it salty but here it was great! I’m guessing the scallops complimented the vegetables.

This is the Clam Slapjack Chowder. I hate the mushroom cream soup so when I first heard of this, I was a bit skeptical because it looked overwhelmingly creamy. But.. it was great! Again, not too salty and a good amount of cooked oysters!

I’m used to eating Malpeque oysters from another restaurant because they have them for $1 Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Malpeque oysters are definitely a lot smaller. Today I got 5 different oysters and they were so fresh and delicious ๐Ÿ˜› fat and juicy I must say! loved the sauce options!

Ricotta filled canoli with hazelnut and strawberries! I loved the filling but the outer shell was pretty hard ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
