The Great Temple at Abu Simbel. The temple was built by Ramesses II in ancient Nubia; he chose to build the temple dedicated to himself. Ramses II (also known as Ramses the Great) was the third pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He is often regarded as the greatest, most celebrated, and most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian Empire.
The Small Temple at Abu Simbel; dedicated to Hathor (famous ancient goddess) and Queen Nefertari. The temple is adorned with colossi across the front facade, three on either side of the doorway, depicting Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari (four statues of the king and two of the queen)
Wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside the temples but i managed to sneak one in and got caught -_- this is the only picture…
